Get to know me

My journey is one of constant motion - both on and off the mat. A true lover of dynamic movement, I thrive in the rhythm of life through yoga, music, travel, ecstatic dance, jaunts through forests, and any version of a gathering focused around dancing. Whether exploring forest trails or creating the next adventure, my energy is rarely confined to one place for long.

A lifelong athlete, I found my footing early in the high-intensity world of competitive volleyball and basketball. When I was eight years old, I embarked on my first solo trip from Chicago to Poland (shout out to the flight attendants who took care of me). This early taste of independence and exploration set the tone for a life marked by curiosity and resilience!

Over a decade ago, while seeking relief from a back injury, I discovered a new kind of challenge: the quiet yet transformative discipline of yoga. What began as a personal practice evolved into a profound passion, reshaping my perspective and purpose. In 2022, I deepened my commitment by completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Unexpectedly, yet with great fulfillment, I’ve been leading students ever since.

At first, yoga felt like another form of movement - something physical, a "workout" that balanced out the high-energy activities I loved. But over time, I realized that yoga wasn’t just about working out - it was also about working in. It became a space where I could slow down, listen, and tap into something deeper. The practice helped me shed the idea that my worth was tied to external achievements or circumstances. Instead, I began to experience what it meant to live from a place of inner abundance and liberation. Yoga reminded me that we are all more than just our physical bodies - beyond limitations, beyond self-doubt, and full of infinite potential.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chicago, yoga allowed me to carve out moments of stillness amidst the urban chaos. Fueled by the love for exploration, I traveled extensively, immersing myself in diverse cultures and wellness traditions, like ayurveda. These experiences broadened my perspective, deepening my understanding of the mind-body connection and enriching my teaching style. I’ve now taught in 10 countries and counting.

Today, I bring the world to her yoga classes - literally and figuratively. My time traveling has shaped me into an international yoga teacher with a gift for creating an inclusive, transformative space for students. Whether guiding a quiet meditation or a dynamic flow, I encourage mindful movement and personal growth and guide others into their inner strength and peace.

Now based in Oslo, Norway, I continue to inspire students wherever they are, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery and connection - to themselves, to each other, and to the world around them.

Get to know me beyond yoga…

As a single, pet-free, and fun auntie living in Colorado, I quickly became the go-to person for watching friends' pets, often booked months in advance. Word spread, and before long, I turned it into a small business.

I am fascinated by fungi. My master’s thesis delved into the world of fungi, specifically researching the ecological functions of fungi in glacial environments.

For a few years, I traveled and worked on farms across the US and Latin America. My time connecting with animals of all kinds - like this sweet goat in Colombia - continues to remind me of the simple joy and happiness animals bring.

During the pandemic, I co-founded Sunnyside Farms, an urban farm in Denver specializing in 36 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Fridays were dedicated to harvesting, while Saturdays were spent at the farm stand, fostering connections within the community.

Backpacking is one of my favorite activities. I led student trips in Colorado and spent weekends exploring the outdoors with friends. Bliss is a tent, a camp stove, a warm sleeping bag, and endless trails.

My roots are Polish. I spent childhood summers in Białystok and later studied in Wrocław during my bachelors. With a large family still in Poland, every visit is filled with memorable adventures.
